Crown: Keeping woodworking tradition alive.
A simple, traditional scratch awl to scribe a line before sawing or chiselling. It's also handy when marking a centre point for starting a screw or locating a spur on a brad point or forstner bit for more accurate drilling.
This version has a 125mm long tempered steel spike with a comfortable 70mm turned beachwood handle, stained and fixed in place using a brass ferrule.
Like all Crown tools it is forged, polished, assembled and each unit is checked prior to leaving the factory in Sheffield so you will get a lifetime of use from it.
