A well priced and well made sliding bevel, the handle stock is lacquered beech with a 28 x 19mm cross-sectional dimension, approximately 145mm long. The 1.0mm-thick blued tool steel blade is 230mm long and secured in place with a solid brass bolt and wing nut.
The 3mm-thick brass plate caps protect the business end from damage by knocking when in use.
Being a Crown product, it is manufactured, assembled and checked prior to leaving the factory to ensure it's spot-on for use first time.
