Expertly crafted with the carver in mind, Kirschen’s carving tools feature precisely ground bevels that are ready for use with just a light hone. Each tool is fitted with a 4in octagonal hornbeam handle, complete with a recessed circular grip near the ferrule for enhanced control and comfort.

Kirschen tools are still largely crafted in the way they were made decades ago, forged from the finest steel and carefully heat treated to 61 Rc for exceptional edge retention along the entire working length of the blade. Electronic monitoring during the forging and hardening process ensures that high standards are consistently maintained.
