To get an even surface when gluing up any large panel like a table tops, your panels will require pressure on all four sides to prevent joint buckling. It can be a real trick to get it all right... enter, the ingenious panel clamp!

We listened when you said you wanted a panel clamp ready to go out of the box. This is an upgraded version of our Torquata 4-Way Panel Clamp Kit simple set up with no need to bring your own timber bars! These panel clamps feature a minimum and maximum clamping thickness of 19-76mm.

As you wind the clamp handle, the bars are pulled down on to the workpiece being clamped and prevent buckling. The more pressure you apply horizontally also directly increases the tension being brought down on the workpiece being clamped. Since all four sides are covered by one clamp you'll save time by using far fewer clamps, and eliminate the dreaded buckling effect to get a straight panel.

Simply load all your boards on top of the lower bar and then slide the top bar into place, situating the clamping head bars in the most suitable notch for your project width, and wind up the clamp handle. The bar feature 13 notches to allow quick and easy adjustment to the overall width of your project. These panel clamps also include mounting brackets, which can be mounted to your surface for maximum stability.

We recommend running masking tape along the wooden clamp bars before loading in the boards so that when the glue is squeezed out the boards, they don't bond to the clamping bars.
